It's been a couple months since Virgil had been accepted into the Sides, them becoming a family. Since that day, since the day Virgil broke out of his "bad guy" role, Roman has been feeling.. weird. Getting this tingly feeling in his chest, wanting to talk to Virgil, wanting to get to know him better, wanting to be close to him more...

Virgil has always tried his hardest to stay out of the the way of the others in the mind scape, to not cause any problems. He was a very nonconfrontational person, after all. But sometimes, confrontation seemed to hunt him down. ' "And lastly, it really comes down to who's more experienced." I smirk a bit at him and bite my lip, smug as he stares back at me. Roman seems to lean in a fraction of an inch, still not breaking eye contact. Then his eyes flicker over my the rest of my face breifly, and my breath catches in the back of my throat. ' ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ This story is of everyday life in the mind, and draws inspiration from a lot of books, including, but not limited to, "THE QUIET", "Stitched", and "far too damaged", along with references to other books I have read in my previous fandoms. This was kinda odd for me, writing in Virgil's point of view, mostly because I like to stray very, VERY far from the whole, "dayum they're hawt... Woit wat?" Kinda stuff. But Virgil is kinda, y'know, anxiety... Either way, I still tried to keep it on a restraining order, minimum distance of 40 ft. ;P. However, there definitely was some internal conflict going on. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works.
