"It's on you Gabriel," she sighed as they prepared to take the final step. "I trust you." 

His heart broke. How could he tell her what he was doing now, she didn't deserve such a fate, no being did.

The universe, is not as empty as we thought. There are others, powerful beings from other planets, other dimensions, there are lesser and greater beings. 

Gabriel, isn't human. He hails from a world called Nova, a planet where gods are the norm. Placed often earth as a child, he was appointed the task of protecting the planet from those who would seek to  the most fragile of beings in the Twenty Gates. 

But then She came, A being that is considered his natural enemy, what can Gabriel do when her presence becomes known and her life is in danger? Will he betray his home, or destroy the only being to ever touch his heart.
