Deep below the ocean waves swims a magnificent creature.

A creature with a body made of human and fish.

This creature, while a hybrid, is not uncivilized. No, they exist in a wet world ruled over by a monarch. A lost monarch.

Mermaids have feared the time when this lost monarch returns.

And fate tells he will return. Soon.

Whereas, on the surface, typical male human Kane Sawyer lives a not-so-typical life. Scarred by a tragic accident that made him fear water, he lives a very dry life.

Until a woman appears in his dreams, aka, his nightmares. After she coaxes him to go for a swim, an uprising occurs below the surface.

The typical male human turns out to be a very rare male mermaid.
