The Wells' girls are perfectly happy in Cape Cod with their father. Suddenly, they are being shipped off to Narragansett, RI to see their estranged mother. After four years of her being "off the grid" the girls are nervous to let her in. Anya, twenty, just wanted to spend the summer with her boyfriend. She has no interest in the woman who broke her heart and abandoned her. Rubiann, sixteen, can't say no. She can't bear to hurt her mom, even if her mom hurt her. But she's worried about her older sister and doesn't want to leave her life in Cape Cod. As for Eva, she was only three when her mom left, so she isn't even sure she will remember her.
Despite all this, the girls are staying with their mother. None of them realized how Rhode Island could be so different than home, but after this summer nothing will be the same.

Liam thought that the only significant event that would ever occur in his life would be his parents getting a divorce. But that's where he was wrong. Suddenly, Liam's average Australian teenage boy life is thrown up into the air when he and his mum decide to move to California. Liam finds himself with a buzzing social life that he never had before and of course, a beautiful girl living next door. Will the craziness of teenage life get in the way or will one shake be all it takes? *AUTHOR'S NOTE* I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to anyone who was waiting for me to take this story further. I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace! Eva returns home from camp and faces the truth of what she did. Along the way, she faces her abusive ex-boyfriend and proves how strong she is. She learns of all the horrible things he's done to others and finds out that by speaking up, she will help in the court case; in doing so, she meets so many other people who have been influenced by the actions of her ex-boyfriend and how she has a vast community around her supporting her now. Once she finishes high school and moves away, she builds a new community with those same people. She learns to not allow her past to define her identity.Lengkap
