The Wells' girls are perfectly happy in Cape Cod with their father.  Suddenly, they are being shipped off to Narragansett, RI to see their estranged mother.  After four years of her being "off the grid" the girls are nervous to let her in.  Anya, twenty, just wanted to spend the summer with her boyfriend. She has no interest in the woman who broke her heart and abandoned her.  Rubiann, sixteen, can't say no.  She can't bear to hurt her mom, even if her mom hurt her.  But she's worried about her older sister and doesn't want to leave her life in Cape Cod.  As for Eva, she was only three when her mom left, so she isn't even sure she will remember her.

Your bestfriends suggest doing a little swiping and maybe convince the guy to help you out with your dilemma. What happens when you do an accidental swipe and the man you connect with is THE ONLY man who agrees to your hair brained idea?

Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace!
