Vampyr: The Dhampir Chronicles

In celebration of DONTNOD's latest game VAMPYR, this story has been written to include a new character of my own making, but hopefully in line with the story they offer.

According to legends and whatnot, Dhampirs are the unholy offspring of a vampire father and a human mother, which loans to the incredible feat of not being harmed by sunlight or holy objects. Some have claimed that these daywalkers are potent bounty hunters to the supernatural, or even guards to royalty past. Neither of these are the full truth.

Alessandria Jol'vora is a Spaniard who is known throughout the entire supernatural lands as a fierce fighter, a force not to be reckoned with-and the only Dhampir of her generation. With many years of training under her belt, Alessandria is an ideal operative during the Great War. Fast, loyal and capable Alessandria saves a doctor on the field inadvertently striking up a friendship with him that was supposed to be broken once they parted ways in 1918. That is until that same doctor is turned into a vampire when he's supposed to return home.

However, there is much more to be told beforehand so you, the reader, can understand what the stakes are in this strange and dangerous supernatural world.

This is Alessandria's story.
