"The belief in a supernatural source of evil is not necessary; men alone are quite capable of every wickedness." Joseph Conrad ..... Eleanor had spent her whole life with her happy-go-lucky family, at least, until a dark June night. The last day of school. She was just two years of age, her dad had taken her and her brother Ubel to their favorite fast food restaurant. Yet when they were at the parking lot, it had gotten rather late. Her dad was beaten. Any expensive items he had at the moment were stolen. Eleanor was too young, and while Dad was beaten and nearly killed, Eleanor was inside the truck safely in her baby seat, singing along to jolly toddler tunes. Yet Ubel was older, and he was outside with his dad, watching, learning, gaining hatred. Never again was everything happiness for Ubel. That ignited something that Ubel never thought he had before. Revenge. Now everyone wants to harm Eleanor. And it is Ubel's job to take care of Eleanor.

The story of bullying and romance and gangs. And abuse. It shows how any life can get out of hand. "My boyfriends father is choking me! Because I won't let him rape me!" Does she give in or not? "My family will be looking for you and me. They will come save me so you better let me go." "Your family isn't your family no more we hear that you have gone different paths is that not true. And before you lie. We have a lie detector here. And if anyone goes looking for you they will see your note that you will be gone for awhile." My fear started to eat at me. The overthrowing urge of vomiting came across my body. Does she get out or is she gone forever.
