Natassia's mom got deported back to Cuba after a racist police officer decided to wrongfully arrest her for speaking spanish on the phone, leaving her dad to have to get two jobs to support the family and Natassia to find comfort in the wrong arms...
Ivan, a dangerous individual to trust and abusive lover, rapes Natassia after she tries to break up with him and it leads Natassia to question her sanity and the people around her.

This is not a cliche. I'm going to revise and most likely rewrite the majority of the book once I finish writing all the chapters.
*I should mention, I personally or anybody in my family have never experienced getting deported or rape so if anything is incorrect feel free to let me know and educate me so it doesn't happen again.*
