It had been another busy week. Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade sat glumly in his office. Christmas was coming and he was still struggling for money as most of it was now the property of his ex-wife. It didn't help that Anderson had been mocking him all week by persistently playing "Sweet Caroline" on his old cassette player every morning. The only thing Greg Lestrade had to look forward to was the "Dinner party" he had been invited to by a Mr Sherlock Holmes. It was undoubtedly going to be awful but it was still something to look forward to. Tired and fed up, Lestrade picked up his suitcase and left for his small, one room flat.
