Enigmatic

{enigmatic - difficult to interpret or understand; mysterious} Evie Martin didn't lead a very exciting life. She completed her schoolwork - usually a day after it was due - and silently yearned for her best friend, Oliver, while he was off with a new girl every week. Her life gets thrown completely upside down, however, when Nick O'Harrow joins their group of friends. He's moody, overly observant and a complete nightmare to figure out. Nick helps Evie to understand that there is a difference between being in love with somebody and being in love with the idea of them. He shows her that there is a very thin line between love and hate, and that understanding your own feelings takes more than a little rational thinking and asking 'what would Carrie Bradshaw do?'
