Kal is a young merman. Adventurous and smart. He loves to look at shipwrecks like what our most beloved mermaid, Ariel does. But this is not about her. This is his story. A merman who first saw his soulmate at a young age.

He doesn't even know what soulmate means.

But after meeting a young boy during their annual trip to the surface. He never thought he'd fell in love deeply to the young human boy without even knowing.

Years later. When he and his twin sister is about to celebrate their eighteenth birthday, he went on his yearly adventure, but something happened. With a sudden turn of events, he run away from home. He joined a pod that lives with the humans on land.

What will happen on his adventure on finding the young boy? Will he be able to find him? Of course, he will! But will it turn out to be good or worse enough to cost him his life?

Karson is a 20-year-old college student. He enjoys surfing. Especially after knowing a little merman back in his childhood.

He told his parents about the encounter he had with a merman. But like any adults. They will just make fun of it and tell you, you have a very playful imagination.

Ever since that day. He never forgets the merman. He tried to be more involved in ocean activities, hoping to see him again.

Freediving, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking and many more. He never thought he'd grew loving and protecting the sea.

The young merman didn't know what good he brought to young Karson's life. He gave him hope, love, and life. But after a few years when people make fun of him, he turns cold.

He doesn't get to know his name though.

What if because of an untimely event he'll see him again? What will happen then? Would they recognize each other?
