Jasmine Coleman is making a living as a DIY interior designer for the Flourish Details when she received a phone call from her mother for a family gathering to reconvene for Christmas as Jasmine hasn't seen her family after she graduated from Colorado State University and moved from the businesses along with art in Englewood, Colorado to the city of Seattle to pursue her career. That's not the problem, howsoever; her mother is pressuring her to find time to meet a man that she would marry one day.

On the way to her parents' mansion, she was involved in a car accident in the middle nowhere when a handsome man approached to her to recommend an inn while he chips in to get her car repaired. Finding a prayer come true to put an end of her mother's lecture in front of her is Carter Bartlett-- A single dad raising his 8 year old daughter Madison with the help of his mother, who happens to be the general manager for the inn subsequent to his divorce with his ex-wife. While Jasmine is staying at the inn, she pitched in the idea of Carter being her faux fiance. Would her mother approve and how would Carter feel?
