Scared and mourning her losses. She meets people the kindness they show her is unknown and comforting compared to her very lonely past. Her adventure begins! I finished the story recently and I left a lot of cliff hangers or gaps in her past and a ending that isn't ideal. If I revise, I will fix that and probably change the end. As their relationship develops, Ino finds herself jeopardizing her most cherished bond, grappling with a mix of regret and jealousy. Side note: While the early chapters stay true to the original Naruto universe, but after chapter 19, it will no longer be as canon to the Naruto universe because I don't need the buildup from stuff like the chunin exams. I decided to write this story because I could never find a Shikamaru x Ino fanfic that truly resonated with me. While I do ship Temari and Shikamaru, as well as Sai and Ino more, I found it frustrating that there weren't any compelling fanfics featuring this pairing. So, I took matters into my own hands and created my own! This is my first time even writing a fanfiction so if you see any errors, I am so sorry and please let me know so I can fix them.
