To Protect the Dragonborn
So, if you look up Farkas's skill stats, they might surprise you... On one of my Skyrim play-throughs, I did the thing where you drop a piece of armor near Farkas and then tell him he can have it when he asks, and that makes him available as a follower... so I took Farkas with me all over Skyrim even though I'd only started the Companion's quest line. That prompted me to look some things up and come up with a few head-cannons... So here's the story that I tried to make tie everything in my head together... "Farkas is intrigued when he meets a small imperial archer and is unexpectedly caught up in her adventures. As he learns more about her he soon decides he'll do everything he can to protect her... and that promise takes him places he never imagined he'd go; brings discoveries no one thought possible; and changes the course of everything..." Marked "mature" just to be safe, there is occasional foul language and graphic descriptions of cannon-typical violence, implied sexual content, and character death and grieving. In a time of crisis, the Dragonborn rises to fulfill the needs of fate. Aisling Snow-Blood was that chosen hero, and she served to the fullest. However, a deeper turmoil is rooted in the lives of her children, Sofie and Hroar, as they try to navigate the reality of her legacy in the wake of her passing. A story about growing up, and grief. This story is slow to start, I'll admit that, but the meat of the story is far faster if you give it a chance. I've been working on this since February of 2023, and I've put a lot of heart and soul into this story and these characters. All reads, comments, and saves mean the world to me.
