"Mother..." my beautiful little boy began to say as i served him his favourite meal. "Who's that angel in the painting?" I looked over at the painting he was referring to stating that there wasn't an angel but rather a charming young woman. "No. Can't you see mother? She's an angel her wings are ripped off and covered in blood right there and shes crying." I look at my little boy in shock. "Baby... Who is she?"

Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. (kinda like the movie Warm Bodies)

"I'm trying to achieve perfection duh" Taking advantage of the spoken words the photographer decided to take it upon themselves to make the artist relax a little bit "I'd say you're already pretty perfect, wouldn't you?" Yes, the words were cheesier than fondue and our photographer was aware of that, but since the young one's cheeks turned a bright pink, and their attention was clearly no longer on the act of drawing the angel's wings, they didn't mind spewing the cheesiest lines to ease the frustration the younger one was feeling. "You know I meant the drawing" "Did I?" The young one's cheeks started to turn a slight deeper red and the photographer chuckled at the clearly flustered artist ------- Hey sooo this is my first short story ever, it's only going to have 6 parts, and to be honest I'm very much scared of having it online so please be kind. The story is written without a gender it's just they/them so I hope it's not too difficult to follow, and although I hate them I very much appreciate constructive criticism and any kind of kind feedback
