guys please don't read this anymore lmao i write totally differently now💋 _________________ In a future where humans are genetically modified -- 'altered' -- at the age of sixteen, the world has been, until now, a safe place. Without changing a person's personality, undergoing the Alteration perfects their appearance, IQ, and even their immunity to diseases. No human passes the age of sixteen without being Altered. In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. Set on a pristine, futuristic Earth, this is the apocalypse like you've never seen it before. (Rated mature for graphic depictions of violence and mild language.) Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! HR: 203 in science fiction (5/8/18) Completed on August 15th, 2018 (Indian independence day!) *******This is not a zombie novel

I've never been able to taste fear before, but I do now, it lingers in the air. Like a flame. Kindled by the president, fed by the citizens, and I'm the one who has to put it out. The extinguisher? Possibly my life. ꧁ .・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・. ꧂ In a world where expressing emotions are illegal and can lead to execution, everything seems perfect. All the countries and their citizens are efficient, orderly and obedient, and nobody seems to question the rules. But Ada Alexander struggles to keep her emotions hidden and she discovers more and more feelings that most humans have forgotten long ago, love, grief, anger, pain and fear. When the system glitches and she is able to cry for the first time ever, she feels tricked and robbed by the government, becomes inspired and develops a revolutionary plan to break the system so people can feel once again, and her family worries for her life. But will her death and discoveries be worth it? 𝙄𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙖 𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣'𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙. MY ADDICTION TO BELLAMY BLAKE FUELED THIS. ~~~~~~~~~~~ (Y/n) Griffin has always been the protector - especially when it comes to her younger sister, Clarke. So when Clarke is thrown into the Ark's lockup after their father's death, (Y/n) isn't sure if this nightmare is the beginning of the end... or just the beginning. Then the unthinkable happens: One hundred juvenile delinquents - including Clarke - are exiled to a devastated Earth, a planet still poisoned by nuclear fire and haunted by its own ghosts. A death sentence wrapped in false hope. If Clarke's fate lies there, (Y/n) knows she can't stay behind. But Earth is no salvation. It's a savage world where the ground itself seems to turn against you, where shadows lurk in every forest, and survival demands impossible choices. Friends become enemies. Allies become threats. And every step forward might be the last. Back on the Ark, power games and cold betrayals shattered trust. Down on Earth, the lines between right and wrong bleed together, and no one is who they seem. (Y/n) finds friendship within the 100 kids. Although Bellamy Blake - a leader forged in fire - is both a rival and a puzzle she can't crack. His loyalty is fierce but unpredictable, and his demons run just as deep as hers. In a world where trust is scarce and every moment could shatter everything, can (Y/n) balance war, loyalty, and a heart she never expected to surrender again? Life changes in an instant. And within this game, one wrong move means losing everything. ~~~~~~~~ Completed: December 2024 The 100, Seasons 1-5 (imo it went on for a bit long and then I didn't even get around to watching the last season BUT LIVE LAUGH LOVE THIS MUCH OF IT) All the characters are from the show aside from the ones that are obviously not in the show (i also recommend the incredible books but they're quite different!)

(hi! it's been a while since I wrote this book, probably like 4 years, and I wanted to rewrite it and was hoping you, guys, could leave some suggestions about whatever you'd want added to the story, removed or simply modified. the updated chapters will be posted in continuation of the ones already up and as I'm finished writing the story I'll delete the old ones. you can also leave suggestions for who you want to be casted as Kylie. you can either leave your suggestions in the comments of this a note or along the book chapters as you read it or you can message them to me.) "Like my mother used to say, 'I'm a predator. I don't have to be a killer.'"-D.H. Kylie is your regular teenage girl, but who hides an immense secret. What happens when her secret comes out? How will it change her life? One thing is sure, her life will take an unexpected turn that she never thought about. She'll fall in love, she'll experience betrayal, she'll learn new things about herself and her past. By the end, she's going to be a completely new person. Season 4 Disclaimer: These are my ideas. I own the plots that I've added to the original script. I also own Kylie Hale and the other characters that I've added and any other additional changes to the original plot. Sorry for the grammatical errors and if the plot is really twisty. I'm working on getting it better.
