Spectrum Island is an island full of different eye colored people. Eye color determines which class you belong to. An oddity, Matthew Cain Ranig, is born by a Blue-Eyed mother and a Brown-Eyed father, he being Green-Eyed. He now has a choice to become Blue-Eyed or live with the poorest of the races, the Brown-Eyed. He's accompanied by Jolyn in Azul, the Blue-Eyed city for six months. After that, he'll spend six months in Dirt, the Brown-Eyed city.
Through his journey through the two cities, he's going to be pressured upon, haunted, and chased. Cain will have to flee to lands no one's ventured on to escape the grasps of his society.
The second and final short story in this little series I've construed. This little sequel plays off the many heavy themes and elements presented in the first story. Around 2K words in length( upon its completion), this wraps up my first little short story Duology.
This story follows the personal view of two coastal survivors, young Charla & Denny, in the wake of a nuclear apocalypse. The story intends to depict a glimpse of communities of sea-faring people and the environment they are fighting to survive in. Between perils of sea and perils of land, will the coastal peoples obtain life or death?
