It was a fine summer day.

    No, it was actually quite hot that day. But I hardly felt it because the air condition was on full blast. I do remember that I was quite excited though. I thought that I had brought everything, but, of course, I forgot plenty. But that didn't matter in the end. At the end, there wasn't anything I could have packed that could have prepared me for what I was about to go through. 

But you don't even know what I'm talking about. Sit down. Well get yourself a cup of tea first. (Might I suggest jasmine? I've always loved a good cup of steaming jasmine tea.) This is a long story and it all started with a journal. I'm about to tell you the true story of Alice. That's me, by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you.
