PERCABETH AU Annabeth Chase is sixteen, beautiful, smart, and an up-and-coming equestrian blessed with a great horse. Percy Jackson is her eventing counterpart; handsome, hilarious and reckless. Both are witty and talented; both love their horses and have a competitive spirit. And they can't stand each other. It doesn't help that they go to the same school, or that they were once best friends. It doesn't even help that the rest of the equestrian world seems to think they'd be perfect for each other. They just can't stand one another. It hasn't been a problem before, but then Percy's trainer decides to move barns, and bring his students with him. Annabeth and Percy end up rubbing elbows and bumping into each other more than they ever have before, but they still manage to maintain their mutual dislike. And then a project horse comes to the barn, a valuable filly both Percy and Annabeth want the chance to train. Can the filly bring the two athletes together—or will she drive them even farther apart?
