The story follows Cocoa's childhood. Her mother and father both had died due to natural causes, therefore it was up to some of the older cookies to take care of her. Originally the cookies had taken turns looking after and raising Cocoa before Knight Cookie had become close the the young cookie and decided he'd be the one looking after her on his own.
Knight's dad had died in war when Knight was still very young, yet the memories had been very clear in his head. His dad was fighting one of the green dragons and Knight was cheering him on a couple meters away. The dragon had caught his dad in it's teeth and ate him alive right in front of Knight. Knight then ran away telling his mum that "Daddy has been eaten!"
After all the trauma Knight cookie had wanted to take a break from killing dragons so he could bring Cocoa up as best as he could.

Another PureCacao Story
Since I've seen so many stories off my favorite ship, I have been inspired to write my own. It might not be 100% accurate but I will try to make it a good story to read. Most of the story is based off of the game, so if you haven't played Cookie Run: Kingdom, I recommend playing the game first! (At least get past Episode 14 in World Exploration) A bit of the story is my head cannon, so it's more interesting, but most of it's just based off what I think about the two. {Just a heads up, I will not be writing any sexual stuff or smut, because I see too much of it anyway so read a different fanfic if you want sexual content or smut please.} I think Pure Vanilla and Dark Cacao Cookie would be more wholesome and romantic than all that other crap, sorry about that.
