Sorgenvoll blickt das Fürstentum Marnien auf seinen Nachbar Kas'la'tar. Dort herrscht ein Kriegsfürst, der in den letzten zehn Jahren die Grenzen seines Landes immer weiter ausgedehnt hat.
Als erster kriegerischen Akt, wurde der Sohn eines Baron bei seiner Brautreise gefangen genommen. Aufgrund widriger Umstände, liegt es schließlich bei der jungen Gwyn das Lösegeld für ihren Ziehbruder zu übergeben. Eine gefährliche Reise beginnt und sie muss bald lernen, dass Freund und Feind sich nicht immer als solche zu erkennen geben.

I looked down at my freshly painted acrylic nails. My heart was racing and my palms were sweating. Although I was having a good time. It was time for me to get out with it. I needed to just spit it out. It's a question that's been lingering in my mind all night. It may ruin the night, but for the sake of my sanity I needed to ask Barron. Here goes nothing. "Barron, can I ask you a question?" I said as I twiddled my fingers together nervously. He nodded his head giving me his full attention. "What are we doing?" I asked softly. Barron rested his elbow on the table and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know, I guess we are hanging out." He answered with no emotion. "Hanging out? You taking me to all these places is just us hanging out?" I said a little taken back. I was not prepared for that reply. I should have known. Weigh Out Way-In
There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. I love it because I wrote it at the height of my absolute obsession with Zemo and the beginning of my love for Daniel Bruhl (although to be fair I'd already realized he was talented and amazing I just didn't know that I was in love with him yet lol) I feel like that passion shows through in ways I might never be able to replicate, but it also hindered my story telling. My problem is that I get so incredibly excited that the ideas spilled out faster than I could put them into any sort of logical order, I mean it wasn't straight trash but it wasn't quite right. I mean chapter one was going to be a one shot for fs sake! This! This multi-chapter time spanning story. I was delusional at best lol. So, I stepped away wrote a couple of others that were ton of fun, but leaving this one sort of "unfinished" has always haunted me. It's like I knew the story was there, I just needed to take enough time away to be able to come back and find it. Anyway, I'm not saying it's perfect, but it makes my heart so very happy.
