Brynn has loved Jason for as long as she can remember. They met as children when Jason saved her from mean group of boys in kindergarten. Ever since they've been inseparable. As they grew older, their feelings for each other grew stronger, and not necessarily in a friendly way. But when something happens in Jason's family and he withdraws from the social world for a while, not even talking to Brynn he accidentally breaks her heart. Brynn spends her days wondering what she did wrong and her nights crying, wishing that Jason would confide in her once more. It's not until Brynn's brother, one of Jason's closest friends, tells him to get his head out of his ass that Jason realizes he's messed up. Now he has to do what he can to win Brynn back, and tell her about what happened. He just doesn't know how to explain his mistakes without hurting her further. How does he tell the girl he loves that the reason he couldn't talk to her was because his sister died, a sister Brynn didn't know about. Will Brynn still trust Jason after having this critical piece of information that he's held from her for so long revealed? Will she still want a future with him even though at the moment she thinks he doesn't trust her?
