Many Americans were upset by the way President Hoover treated the Veterans after the war. In a fit of rebellion people started to fight. Not noticing the fact that people where disappearing one by one to a unknown place called...the center.
We were all told to be quiet. The thundering footsteps above left dirt from the roof crumbling down, I knew they found us. We were no longer safe.
They threw us into rooms with white walls and gated windows. Their sinister smiles showed little of what was coming for me...for us. But this wasn't the end, it's never the end.

In this last and final chapter of their story, Rosalee, Thomas and Newt along with the other Gladers must break into the deadliest maze of all: The Last City, controlled by W.I.C.K.E.D. to save their friends. Six months after Minho and other kids from The Right Arm were taken, Thomas and the others swear an oath to rescue them. But, other than W.I.C.K.E.D., they've got problems on their hands. Such as finding out why they were placed in the Maze in the first place, or confronting the person who betrayed them. Most of all, having to choose who to save and who to trust in the end. The time for lies is over. Rosalee and her friends are determined to get everyone back if it is the last thing they do. Prequel to MAGNESIUM and STEEL. "What's wrong Minho?" You taunted, "Getting déjà-vu?" "You waited for a moment but he hesitantly grabbed your arm, you pulled him up, getting so much resistance that you nearly fell to your death. "As if on an instinct he gripped your arm with both hands, "Y/n!" "You're just stuck," You noted calmly, "Find the vine you're tangled with, use your free hand." He gave you a look that made you grin, he didn't trust you one bit. "Do it, or you'll be hanging here for eternity," You told him, but under the threat there was a message implied. If you don't do it, I'll hang onto you for eternity too. With apprehension he started pulling at vines, glancing at you every few seconds while you strained to stay still. "Thomas? Do you mind getting up off your butt for a second?" You snapped at the boy. "Another pair of arms came to assist Minho, searching with him until the rope was found and sliced in half. "He's loose! Pull him up," Thomas announced. You remained there, just long enough for Minho's eyes to widen in fear and desperation. It was cruel, but then you pulled him up, watching him scuttle to a wall like a frightened bug. You leaned against one too, sweat falling from your head. Minho's breaths were laboured, eyes bugged to stare at you. "You didn't-" He began but you shut him up. "No," You said, "I do a lot of messed up stuff but- not that. Not my job." "You slid your hands into your hair, looking down at the stone floor, muttering, "Believe it or not, I don't want your blood on my hands."' I was screaming even louder thinking I was going to die. But then I landed in somebody's arms. I reacted quickly and punched the guy in the face. He let go of his grip on me and I started running only to be grabbed by another person. I kicked the person in the shin and then stomped on his left foot making him lose his balance. Then I flipped him over my shoulder and onto the ground. I was about to start running again when I heard Madi's scream. "MADI!!" I yelled, I looked over to see some guy was lifting her off the ground by her waist. I ran towards him and jumped on his back. He let go of her and then she kicked him in the stomach. I jumped off and we started running but Madi got grabbed and before I could run toward her, the guy who grabbed her pulled out a gun and put it to her head. "NO!" I yelled as someone grabbed my arms and held them behind my back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alex and Madi end up getting kidnapped by the alpha and beta of one of the most powerful packs in America. The two are in for quite an adventure considering their terrible pasts. The two girls escape many things including; slutty girls, caffeinated drinks, new love and rival packs. The two also end up finding something about themselves that no one thought was possible.Complete

I notice him fidgeting with his hands, knowing I'm probably right. We are both standing on the Watch tower, leaning over the railing. I look across the Glade. I study the people and my surroundings. I remember when I first met Newt. Two young kids finding their way out of the Maze. We protected each other at all costs. We still do.
