I jump suddenly, startled by a drip from somewhere in front me. As I make my way through the labyrinth of tunnels, I pull my cloak tight around my shoulders, shaking off any more thoughts about my bad decisions. I know these tunnels by heart, but that doesn't mean nightmarish things aren't lurking in the shadows of the rusty underbelly of the kingdom. I have to be ready for anything, especially when I'm headed to an illegal underground fight. These tunnels are illegal to travel through to begin with. Keeping up my guard and shaking off my distracting thoughts, I continue ahead to my next bad decision.

"If you really think I'm revolting or a complete asshole, then why don't you quit? Huh? C'mon tell me, Princess," Calum questioned, towering over me with a smirk that was constantly toying at his lips. I knew I would regret my answer later. But in that moment, with Calum's specific scent of mint and an undertone of cigarettes filling my nose, I spoke whatever I wanted. Maybe it was the smell that clouded my thoughts and keeping me from using a filter with my thoughts. "I can't quit because you make me feel some sort of way. I don't know what this stupid feeling is. All I know for certain is that I'm not going anywhere until I figure out what the hell this emotion is."
