Scarlet has lost everything, her brother, her parents, and even the peace of sleep. After her parents died she had been haunted by dreams of a man of shadows and her dead brother. Her life was shrouded in secret, shortly after her brothers death her parents had allowed the courtship of two rulers, the reason why royalty would pursue a girl not of noble birth died with them. With more questions than answers Scarlet must find the truth on her own, starting with what it means to be red like roses. Hey my little Inklings, so this is the original story I am posting on here, I'm aiming to eventually publish this so feed back would be awesome! And please don't steal my idea, this is an experiment to see if it's safe to try this so please don't steal my work. Some of the characters have been inspired by songs I found online but they are still my original characters, they were inspired by, not based off of.All Rights Reserved
