'My heart was pounding so fast, I thought I was going to pass out. It scared the crap out of me; caught me completely off guard. I should be throwing the damn thing out of the window right now, or worse, burning it. But if you knew me, you'd know that my curiousity always got the better of me.
So now you'd understand why I couldn't stop my fingers from unwinding the leather strap that sealed it shut, no matter how much the sane part of my brain was screaming at me not to. I nervously yet hastily flipped through its pages until I came across that very page that was the reason behind this "little" freak out and those very words that have been haunting my mind for the past 6 minutes.

This town might be small but boy is there a lot of drama. The town police don't know what's worse, the splayed out animals or the missing high school girls. Leah doesn't know what to think as the town she knew as her home falls to shambles. Will she fall with the town or will she run away with the mystery man she has a secret obsession with.
