A Court of Shadows and Heartbreak
OCxAzriel(acotar) This story follows Verena, a half high fae, half witch, who has lived with so much anger and despair since she was 16, when everything she knew and loved was taken from her by no other than the then High Lord of the Night Court. Centuries have passed, but Verena cannot let go of all the damage that has been done to her and to her people. This is why she finds herself in the last place she ever thought she would be at: the Night Court. She's after the last piece of her heritage; her mother's spell book, and nothing will stop her. Even if a certain shadowsinger has his eyes on her all the time. Oh, and did I forget to mention that the most powerful High Lord, Rhysand, is her brother? Where Shadows Are Born
