“Why are you being like this?!” Alissa shouted at Aaron who seemed unfazed by her harsh tone. “God! You can just be annoying at times okay?” he spat back. Alissa stumbled back feeling the sting from the venom very visible in his words. The tears were hot on her face as she ran out the front door of the one person in the world’s house who she thought she could trust. This isn’t how their friendship started, but how them and everyone thought it was going to end. After the very eventful day that Alissa’s childhood best friend Aaron became a person who she didn’t know any longer, the two teenagers parted ways. Of coarse they still had to face those awkward meet-ups in the halls at school but could easily cover it up with a couple of glares and a shoulder bump. These two stubborn ex-bestfriends thought they would never have to talk again until one day when they are paired up at soccer practice.
