This is a story about a young girl named Evelyn and her ballet experience. You'll see her first day to her first performance with a professional company.

This book is meant to teach you about ballet and what it's really like but also have a little story with it.

(If you have any questions, please comment them! I'll put them in occasional Q&A chapters when I get enough. Any questions are welcome as long as they relate to ballet. Thank yyoouuu!)

Hi this is my first book i have ever written. Evelyn has always to herself, an introverted, artistic soul trying to balance her busy family life with school. The last thing she expects is to be paired with Theodore Hart, the golden boy of the school. Handsome, popular, and always surrounded by friends, Theo seems like everything Evelyn is not. But when they're assigned to work on a school project together, the lines between their worlds start to blur. What begins as an awkward partnership quickly turns into something more as Evelyn and Theo find themselves spending more time together, outside of school, after hours, and in the quiet moments between classes. Theo has his own burdens pressure from his parents to secure a football scholarship, and the weight of being the golden child everyone admires. And Evelyn? She's hiding the struggles, her own quiet fears, and the growing feeling for a boy she once thought was out of her league. As they collide over deadlines misunderstanding, and stolen glances, the connection deepens. But in a world where status and expectations collide with feelings they can't control, can they overcome the pressure and let themselves fall for each other?Or will the weight of their individual struggles keep them apart? "Beneath the surface" is a story of unexpected love, navigating fear, and breaking down barriers to find what really matters.
