Austin Reeves lost everything the day a disturbed teenager opened fire on his brother's high school. His brother became one of many casualties and now he's trying to move on from the tragedy. Leah Ford has been by Austin's side since they were toddlers, and even when he tries to push her away, she's the one steadfast constant in his life. They're both set to leave after the summer is over; he's going to Nashville and she's going to California. But before she goes, she has something she needs to say to Austin, but the only thing on Austin's mind is finishing an album of songs written by his deceased brother, including one song with nothing written down other than a title; Make You Miss Me. Together, Austin and Leah work together to write that last song. One song to remember those they lost. One song before they're both gone. One last song from the heart, and before they're finished, they're going to come to understand that there's more than one way to miss someone... Leah thought her life had been turned upside down when she ran off with the town bad boy to live at the edge of a dusty county road. But when he leaves for two weeks and a couple of strangers walk into Leah's life, she starts to question everything about the life she chose. Is it possible to undo the mistakes she made in the past? Leah thought she knew the answer, but now she isn't so sure. This is a story about the blindness of love and infatuation, about the kindness of friends, and the pain of facing truth and reality. **Blue Rose Awards February 2019 Winner in Romance**
