Amina Hassan is a typical Somali Muslimah who tries her best to focus on her deen and please Allah. She's entering her senior year and her only goal is to focus on her grades, ignore the reeking smell of hormones that travel around her school, and please Allah by committing to her deen.

Due to her parents catastrophic divorce and her horrible past, Amina has a hard time believing in love and trusting people. Although she's never experienced love before, she's been taught by her mother that love is temporary and that it means nothing. Therefore she pushed away those feelings and began to focus on school and her personal life until she met the new guy that recently joined her school. Walid Saleh.

Walid Saleh is a typical Arab Muslim boy who recently moved to a new continent with his family from Europe. Due to his father getting promoted by a job in the U.S, he had to leave his friends and memories behind and make new ones in a place he's not familiar with. He's a practicing Muslim and attempts to refrain from committing sins and tries to get closer to Allah.

But what happens when Walid becomes Amina's light in her dark world and spontaneously falls in love with him? Walid is determined to find a love that is real and genuine. Will he succeed?
