Alexandra is a foster-child turned graduate student whose only passion in life has been studying fairytales and folklores from all over the world.When the sly-eyed Robin enters her graduate program with an mysterious past and a condescending attitude, Alex is as repulsed by his demeanor as she is attracted to his physique. 

As forces outside Alex's control begin tearing at the structure of her life, Robin informs Alexandra that she's a changeling-- a fae child placed among humans, and he's been sent to bring her home. Alex must risk everything she's known to follow a man she can't trust into a world that has intentions more sinister than she could imagine. As machinations and manipulations begin to stack, it will take everything she has to avoid a changeling's fate.
