The story mostly follows a anime nerd girl named Angela who has a strange obsession with her friend's cute and adorableness. She later figures out her friend is a Hecki (person with cat ears and cat tail) and likes her more. Though she doesn't like the name and prefers to call her a nekomimi. They later find a guy in the same grade as them who also is a hecki. He instantly askes her friend out and Angela wants none of that. She refuses to give her friend up. Intill facts and life comes crashing down on her and she never found it harder to fight for anything.
Will she give up her friend to a guy that popped out of nowhere?
or will she risk there friendship?
or will something unexpected happen to her she thought would never happen?
