There is a realm. A broken one, an infected one, a messed up one. It is a threat to all the other worlds and realms. It is infecting everything in its path of destruction. It's a leaky pipe waiting to burst. Corrupting everything it touches. The creatures from this realm are set to kill. These creatures are of night and shadow. There's no solution to this problem. Why? No one knows which realm it is.
The faeries king of a well known realm has thought of a way to possibly stop this leak. So he has collected a team of creatures to go on an expedition. Find the realm that is leaking and cure it. But do not destroy the realm, for that would mean certain doom for all the other realms. Right?
Will this team of creatures cure this realm and survive? Will they complete the task at hand?
I guess you'll just have to read and find out.
Like kinda cliche, kinda cheesy. But i'm working on it. I'm going to try my best. And thats all i can do right?

The quest is to find a powerful gem in the Deep Forest, and then to use what powers it bestowed on them to delve into the Mountain Barrier. There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The Splice of The Realms
In a world divided into four groups, there is a role for everyone. Every group has their own realm found in each corner of the country they share. The top right corner has the largest population. There lives the people of the Mystery Realm (M.R.) They're the police force, detectives and prosecutors. They're the only realm which carries weapons of any kind. However, they don't kill. While they do value law and order, they don't like violence and tend to avoid it. The bottom left corner has the second largest population. The people there are born with unique powers. They're called the Supernatural Realm (S.R.) They tend to be optimistic and stubborn. They value relationships and would do anything to keep the people they love safe. The top left and bottom right corners are tied in regards to population, however, that is the only thing they share in common. These two realms couldn't be more different. In the top left corner is the society of the Technologically Enhanced Realm (T.E.R.) The people here develop technology the other realms could only dream of. They don't socialize with others and tend to keep to themselves. They understand complex equations and theories, however, they have a hard time understanding human emotion. Finally, in the bottom right corner lives the peaceful and happy people of the Primitive Harmony Realm (P.H.R.) The people here lead a simple life and believe in nature and its gifts. Because of that, they were blessed with healing abilities and elemental gifts. Additionally, the herbs they grow are just as magical as the people themselves. Their carefree and charismatic tendencies cause them to always believe the best in people, even when they shouldn't. For years everyone stuck to their roles and never tried to become anything else-until one day, everything changed...Concluida

A man with a seriously messed up life and a load of mental problems made a lot of mistakes in his life but one stands above the rest. I think of the story like this: This isn't the story of a hero slaying a dragon and rescuing the princess. Nor is this a story about a hero who triumphs over evil and rescues the maiden in peril.
