Ballet is a lifestyle, not a hobby.

Anastasia has known that since she could walk, and has never wavered from her personal regimen of hard work, sweat, and constant practice. The way she sees it, she has an all but assured victory at the United Ballet Association Youth State Finals.

Allison has spent as many hours on the balance beam as Anastasia has on the dance floor, but ballet had never really crossed her mind. Sure, she can hold a handstand on the beam for upwards of an hour, but she's never worn a tutu in her life, and she certainly can't keep a rhythm.

When Allison becomes entrenched in the ballet world, the two girls will face each other head to head in a battle for recognition, glory, and the favor of a certain young man.

You have no choice but to try your best. You meet your team, you receive your special job, and you train for two weeks. Then, all too soon, The Race begins... Will your team take home seven million dollars? Or will you die trying? - - - "Two elite teams of eighteen year olds are being formed from people around the world. Each team is made of members with different skills and different backgrounds, all extraordinarily talented. They will each be given a different set of clues that lead to one end goal: seven million dollars. The players will be hurt, tested physically and mentally, possibly even killed. This is The Race." - - - Excerpt: "Now then, I don't expect us to play a get to know you game but, I mean, if we are going to be relying on each other throughout this thing, we need to at least be friendly. How about everyone says their name, occupation, and where they're from?" There was a pause for a moment as everyone stared at this pink-haired girl with an English accent. "Alright, fine. I'll start. My name is Maybelle, I am a chef and as you should be able to tell by my accent, I am from London." "I am Aralee, I am a singer and I am from Italy! I'm so excited to meet and become friends with all of you." "I guess I'll go next," the model-like girl spoke. "My name is Naomi, I am from Egypt and I am a model." Guessed it. "I am Cami, from Canada. I'm a barista," spoke the red-haired and green-eyed girl. "Lark, Russia, musician," said the blonde. "Asia, Hong Kong, and I am a certified genius." "Oh, uh, my name is Harper. I am from the U.S. and I am a dancer."

Secret Time

26 parts Complete

Anastasia was known to be a social butterfly and spent her life walking into her best friend's house without announcing her presence. That was until something tragic happened. Her guard was up and she only spilt surface level qualities to anyone she encountered. Soon she's walking into a new school with her brother, Nick, and his best friend, Noah. When their parents leave for business she finds herself tagging along with Nick and Noah. She discovers how they spend their time-outside of school and football- and finds a new family along the way. Her old life is soon left in the dust and she grows closer to someone she never expected to be close to. Even though she promised to never open up again, it seems to be easy with him. The tension rises but Anastasia is unsure how to feel about Noah and a new side of him. She realizes he's not who she thought he was and he's always there when she needs him most, as a friend. But can they stay friends? And if they're only friends, why does she keep pulling away?
