"Damn it! Kill them!"

Claire saw it all. Although her whole body is slowly being move to a different time dimension, her senses are still intact. She wishes to look at her siblings for the last moment to remember their faces but what she saw is the enemies ruthlessly slashing their bodies.

Clara and Clarence fall on the hard ground at almost the same time with blood coming out from the cut on their body but even though they were dying, a small smile is evident on their faces.

They are happy that they succeed but that's not the reason that they are smiling. Clara is smiling to assure Claire that everything will be alright while Clarence is smiling to support his older sister. After all, she won't be dying with them now but instead, she will be carrying a heavy burden of saving their family.

"Just how much of a monster are they? To still smile while they are dying? What a beast," one of the cloaked people said before he picks up a stone from the unpaved ground and smashes Clarence's face using it.

Sadness welled up in Claire's chest as she quickly averts her gaze from her younger brother and it nearly made her cry but that didn't last long when a stronger emotion starts growing in her. An emotion that she didn't feel even when she was at war.

'I will make you all regret it. Starting from the person that planned all of this, I will hunt you all and make everyone pay'

The Enforcers are up against a formidable foe who has more planned than just the elimination of some wolves. The whole supernatural and natural world is in jeopardy if they don't find a way to get rid of him and his followers. All the old characters are here along with some new ones. (Sequel to The Hunted) Excerpt: "Lex, I think you should just sit down." Gideon says to me in an almost plea. I look to him and then back to Victor who is clearly doing everything he can to contain his anger at the moment. I clench my teeth together and I do the dumbest thing I probably should have in that moment, "You can all go to hell." I say through gritted teeth. I have a problem with anger okay? It couldn't just back down to these he-man wannabe's after all the BS that they had put me through. My eyes widened as Victor let out a fierce roar and then before my eyes he went from man to beast. It happened so quickly that no one even had a moment to respond to it. He was charging at me from across the room and I was standing frozen with wide eyes as he came at me. The wolf collided with me full force and my body slammed into the ground with a sickeningly loud crack. I felt all my bones snapping and rattling together as I hit the ground. The wolf caged me underneath himself his big sharp teeth snarling inches from my face. I blinked a couple time as I stared into those glowing blue eyes and I felt my heart beating in ears. This was it, I was going to be killed because I couldn't keep my stupid mouth shut and just do what I had been told.

"Let them go, Dante." I whip my head to see a small boy standing the clearing with blonde hair and a green cloak hanging from shoulders. He isn't very tall however he holds his stance well. He doesn't seem to be more than Cassandra's age. Maybe 12 at most. I abruptly turn my head back hearing the man holding a sword to my throat chuckling with a sinister grin. "Oh, poor boy, what are you go to do about it?" The yellow teeth gleam as he begins stalking towards the boy who does not look the least bit fazed. I look around at the other men who are following the leader. I pull Cassandra tighter to my back as I take small steps back. I keep my eye trained on the men but also fear for the naive boy. "Do you really want to test me Dante?" He asks raising a single eyebrow. For a minute the men stop their movements. I see their hesitation for fear... Fear of what? I take the moment to stick Cassandra behind a nearby tree. She crouches down while I pull my sword out from its place. "How do you know my name?" The scoundrel raises his sword challenging towards the boy before taking a final step towards him. Then the unexpected happens. The young boy chuckles so darkly. It sounded almost... demonic. All the men instinctively raise their swords. "Oh Dante, I didn't know your name... but you know someone dear to me." "Spit it out boy!" The once grinning man is now looking around frantically. I continue my eyes scanning the small boy. He looks directly me and gives me a small nod before saying one word that caused all hell to breaks loose. "Artemis." Artemis is not an ordinary girl. She grew up in the wilderness after being shunned due to unique abilities and her different physical attributes. Blessed with an ability that scared others, she roams the wild with only her guarded one. That is until she stumbles into a situation that brings her in front of a prince.

Prologue Shadows engulfed his angelic features oozing devilish intentions. It wasn't until he took a step towards her did the gravity of situation descended upon and even then she couldn't do anything but shake in fear. She knew making a run for it won't do a thing, calling was not an option and if she screamed...she opened her mouth to shrill but a meek plea came out. Her body's lack of response terrified her, tears gathered in her orbs with horrible anticipation. With his each step nearer she gripped the frame of her window tighter hoping to keep her balance. It took him three steps to be inches away from her body. He slowly took his suit jacket off, making himself comfortable as he amusingly watched her shaken face. She was so horror-stricken to even look at his face. She gulped as his hand cupped her neck in a gentle grip, guiding her eyes to his. His eyes slipped from the hold of her eyes to her lips in a second. She grew self conscious all over again. His heated gaze on her lips was unwavering. In the moment of bewilderment and growing self awareness her tongue unconsciously wiped her lips wet and it was all it took for him to descent on her lips.
