Once upon a time, on an island untouched by man, lived the humble species known as the Crystal Dragon...named so for the crystalline nests they would build to protect their eggs. Well, that and their flame was hot enough to make certain things into crystals, but I digress. They were amazing, and as legend has it they guarded a horde of gold large enough to buy the entirety of Olympus. Unfortunately due to...well something that shall remain unnamed, there is only one Crystal Dragon left...her name is Kyrstina, but she prefers Kyra. She knows the pain of loss, and hardly has any friends to speak of. The Dragons she finds friendly end up being either obsessed with her, or betray her. This story? Well let's just sat that she's about to find something she's only felt once before...love.

She doesn't like humans, though, and when she flees in fear, Hiccup and Toothless have to get her back. Even if that means they have to fight other dragons, enter the Sanctuary's deepest secret and find the truth behind Comet's horrible scar. Because if they don't, the race of Night Furies is doomed... Praise for Comet Nights: Comet Nights is a very good fanfiction. I think that it should be made into a movie, or a HTTYD mini series on Netflix! - @jayfeather44 I wouldn't be able to even tell whether this is an official story by DreamWorks, or an enormously successful fanfiction. It really takes you to Berk and tells the life of the last female Night Fury, and how much she means to save their tribe. Before we get to the description of this book let me assure you all that I don't own the rights to the names of the few dragon type skylanders that may appear in this story. Also, the names of dragons that will appear not including Spyro, Cynder, Flashwing, and Malefor, will all belong to me. Also, any dragon type OC names and personality traits will be much appreciated. This story takes place in the Dragon Realm, one of many realms throughout the known universe, and two dragon eggs are about to hatch. These two dragon eggs are Spyro and Cynder both of which grew up in two different parts of the Dragon Realm. Spyro grew up in the Dragon Temple training to become the next Dragon Guardian. While Cynder grew up in the Dark Temple deep within the Shattered Mountains of Arc-kana where the Dark Dragon Lord Galventer was training her to be evil. However, Cynder doesn't want to be evil, Galventer took notice of this and cast an evil forbidden spell on her and turned her into Dark Cynder. When Dark Cynder was sent on an assassination mission to eliminate the next Dragon Guardian, Spyro, she faced Spyro in a fight but Spyro could tell that Dark Cynder's real self was still inside her. What will happen? Will Spyro save Cynder? Or will the Darkness take over the entire Dragon Realm? Read to find out.
