It was a summer full of music and longing looks.

Josh Dun is a relaxed and upbeat teenager who is going to a music camp for a month over the summer between junior and senior year. He's been playing the drums since he was a kid and can't wait to meet new people. And then came Tyler Joseph.

Tyler was the quite kid, the one that nobody really paid attention to. But he didn't mind. Stuck with his own thoughts piecing themselves into lyrics and his skills on the piano, he signs up for a month long summer music camp. He wasn't too interested in making friends, and definitely not interested in a relationship. And then came Josh Dun.

6 parts Complete Mature

Tyler is convicted of a crime that he doesn't believe that he did, and the weirdest part, that no one will tell him what it is. All he knows is that earlier that day, he was with Josh in their woods, the woods that held their tree house, and now he was in a jailhouse wearing an orange jumpsuit and blood on his hands. He befriends a boy with honestly way too much eyeliner, a quiet boy who was in an illegal relationship with another officer, and more boys who have done awful things that Tyler would never dream of doing. There's one thing that's not right, however - Josh is missing. And Tyler can't find him. Until one faithful day, he turns up. And then he just disappears. [Trigger warning: self harm, suicidal thoughts, schizophrenia, etc.]
