Eilene is a fairy.
Or at least that is what she always thought, until the elders of her village told her it was time for her to go to school.
Excited and a little bit nervous, she got ready for her first day of school. It seemed slightly strange to her that she had to pack so much, compared to her friends.
Fast forward to the present.
Eilene learnt the hard way that she isn't a fairy. She is attending a boarding school for humans and only gets to go home during the vacations. Her upbringing didn't exactly make it easy to blend in, not to mention that people are still making fun of the school 'fairy' until this day.
Nothing like her old self and without any friends, Eilene became quite miserable.
Well, what can I say? Life sucks.

From there on a friendship blossoms and finding out about accepting the past, overcoming it, and the effects it took. Learning how to let people in and have friends and what boundaries are. Learning how to process your feelings after keeping them locked away for no one to see. Being yourself, and not letting the past control what you do in the present. How words can haunt you.
