We all love our clichés. Good Girl falling for the bad guy who does not do anything bad unless you count having tattoos and being anti-social a bad thing, Crazy ex-girl friend who inspires a quirky mean girl reference, the new girl who bumps into Mr popular,The stupid werewolf that rejects his sweet mate, the alcoholic father, the hot bully etc. Seriously these things are a lot of fun to read because through these books we can live the fantasy that deep down we know will never happen in real life ( wailing tears while eating ice-cream straight from the tub)

Nini has always dreamed of a life straight out of a romance book. Except her teenage years were filled with anxious thoughts about crushes who seemed to be more interested in getting in her friends' pants than talking to her, growing insecurities regarding her appearance, and date after date where the guys would always find an excuse to never text back. Then came adulthood, when Nini realized whenever she was in the room, love seemed to run the opposite way.
