This book is inspired by the amazing work of Lasse HallstrΓΆm and Peter Hedges. These two have created the movie 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1996),' a story about Gilbert Grape (Johnny Depp), a young man with the responsibility of raising his younger, mentally impaired, brother, Arnie (Leonardo DiCaprio).
I am in no way trying to copy this beautiful movie, I am merely trying to share a similar story to an audience more active in today's society. My story has been modified in the slight categories of technology, Love, and relatable struggles.
