Cecelia Forbes was the eldest daughter of Sheriff Forbes, in 1863. A year before Katherine came and turned the brothers. Cecelia was betrothed to Damon, before he was sent to the war. When Valerie came to town and bonded with Stefan, she also bonded with Cecelia. They grew to be best friends, and Valerie taught her how to control her siphoning magic. Valerie would carry a bottle of Lily's blood with her incase of an emergency, so one late evening after a spell gone wrong, Cecelia was on the edge of dying until Valerie gave her the blood. This healed Cecelia but when Julian caught the two practicing magic, he snapped Cecelia's neck, unaware of the blood in her system. When Cecelia awoke, she was alone, as Valerie and Julian were both gone. Miles from Mystic Falls, she had wandered in the opposite direction until she fell upon a passing by carriage, her bloodlust overwhelming her. Years later, she is reunited with Stefan Salvatore in Chicago 1920s, where he as well is a vampire. But unlike Stefan, Cecelia was a heretic. The first born.

During the 1920s, Cecelia Forbes grew close with the Mikaelsons, promising to help Niklaus Mikaelson with his werewolf curse. Unfortunately, when they were discovered by Mikael, Klaus put Cecelia to sleep in a coffin until he was ready for her to break the curse. Only a Bennett Witch could open the coffin, which freed Cecelia. [Basically I wrote her into Esther's Spot. Because meh.] She has a devilish personality, once innocent but corrupted by the evil around her. Her own impulses. Like Damon, she can manipulate fog and an animal of her choosing, a snowy white owl.
