Alex had dealt with mental illness for most of his teenage life. No one seems to understand or care. But everything changes when the new kid, Jack, sits next to him in astronomy class.

{Can be triggering} Alex isn't happy with his life, one day he decides he'd had enough and attempts suicide, in a panic his parents take him the hospital and manage to save his life. When he wakes up he's told his parents have signed him into a mental ward, as he's walking around he meets a strange boy named Jack. After getting to know him he wonders why he's here, little does he know he's even worse off than he is.

Jack was painted on everything in Alex's mind.
