The Arrangement
Kirsten never has time for love and romance. She spent all of her time studying in college and when she got out into the working world she devoted her life to her job. She has made a few close friends that she hangs out with and that's the extent of her social life. Her family (especially her mother) all give her a hard time about her love life or lack there of. When her baby sister gets engaged they really put the pressure on her since she will now be the only one that isn't "settled down" yet. To appease her family, she decides to bring a date to her sister's wedding. The only problem is she has no idea who she is going to find. Her friends help her find someone and the person they pick is the complete opposite of Kirsten. What will happen? Will Kirsten give love a shot? Do opposites really attract? From the book... You can't tell me you don't feel something when I do this...." He says as he trails his fingers down my arm. Goosebumps in his path betray me, letting him know he is in fact effecting me. He looked at me with wide eyes, clearly confused. He then held a sympathetic look on his face when he saw how passionate I was about this entire situation. I can't believe he didn't realize all these years that he was the one I wanted to be with all along. "How was I supposed to know Riley? You didn't tell me shit!" He yelled back at me but still held his same sympathetic look. I shook my head at him, wiping my face as I backed away from him, stepping into a pile of snow in the process. There was already snow on ground but more snow had just started to fall from the sky. "Look, I have to go. My mom wants me home for dinner." I said turning on my heels and walking away towards my house. I didn't even bother looking back but I knew he was still standing there.
