Erin and her younger sister Nina have always wanted to leave and get out, run. As disaster strikes globally with a zombie apocalypse, they get their wish. Running away from home always seemed like the best option, but at some point we all get tired.
Cole has been running alone ever since day one of disaster, a lone wolf. When they find each other in a world of chaos things strangely seem to feel more normal than they did in their lives before.
How can living in a world where the dead roam wild feel safer than the home they had previously, Erin would tell you but her own sister doesn't know. While Cole opens up so easily about the deaths in his past, Erin is in a constant battle to open up to him- because she can't become dependent, she can't let her guard down- she can't lose him.
And in this world,
Losing someone is part of an everyday routine.
