This is a short story that I've written by myself this time.
Mae has a grudge against her recently deceased parents because they put their careers before her. She hardly knew them and it hurt to feel so unwanted. However, ever the dutiful daughter, she fulfills their request that she write to a man in America. She doesn't know him, she doesn't really care to know him. All she wants, really, is to focus on her job and the kids that involves and to be happy.

"Abort it." "Excuse me ?" "Abort that thing inside of you!" He shouts in my face. I put my hands on his chest, trying to put some space between us. The man didn't even budge. "I'm not aborting my baby!" I feel strong hands wrap around my throat, and the next thing I know, I'm being lifted off the floor, fighting for air. "Listen here, you bitch you will abort that child, and if you don't, I'll personally kill you both myself. I'm a man of my word. Do not test me." He spat dead calm. Elora finds herself in a sticky position when her brother was in a terrible car accident, leading to an expensive medical bill that neither of them could afford. Her parents died when she was young, leaving her brother as her sole guardian. The two had been incredibly close over the years, and she had to find a way to help him in his current position. She had no choice but to sleep with a man she knew nothing about for money to cover the hospital bill, but later found out she was pregnant. The worst-case scenario is that the father wants nothing to do with her and the unborn child. After three years of guilt, pain, and regret, the two cross paths once more, and Elora struggles to make the right decisions as he was determined to be in their little girl's life. The Player Next Door
**Complete** Madelyn Foster is just your not so average 18 year old. She holds a lot of guilt, grief, and heartbreak, caused from a traumatic childhood. Her and her brother got out of it physically, but never emotionally. She decides to move across the country, to get away from the memories that her hometown holds. Moving across the country, means leaving her brother and the woman that pieced her and her brother back together, behind. Her and her service dog move into an apartment with a roommate. Her apartment just happens to be next to the town's player. They also not so coincidently go to the same college. They are forced to be partners in Spanish, for the entire year. Most of the time she finds him annoying, but the other times she gets a glimpse of who he is under the player façade. She's been through more pain and suffering than most people do in a life time, she finally got back to being almost normal. Ten years later Alexandra meets again with twenty-Seven year old Massimo Del Carlo, Cancer survivor and Italian mafia boss. Realizes he needs his wife to help him carry on the legacy, and the mafia doesn't do divorces. -------- "You're an asshole, did you know that?" I scowl before walking away towards the door. Only four sounds of heels touching the tiled floor hit before I was pulling back by my arm. He turns me towards him and gets up close in my personal space.
