This is a short story that I've written by myself this time.
Mae has a grudge against her recently deceased parents because they put their careers before her. She hardly knew them and it hurt to feel so unwanted. However, ever the dutiful daughter, she fulfills their request that she write to a man in America. She doesn't know him, she doesn't really care to know him. All she wants, really, is to focus on her job and the kids that involves and to be happy.

"Jess, would you please get his order." Lisa winked at me and pointed the guy near the door. She is my one and only bestfriend since kindergarten. "Okay." One thing about Jessica is that, she hates guys because she was 'only' cheated and used by four guys already. They used her money and these four guys, she'll see them again at school and that bothers her so much. She don't feel love or hurt from guys anymore. Her heart is numb. It feels nothing. For guys. These four guys made Jessica a cold and heartless person.
