This is a short story that I've written by myself this time. Mae has a grudge against her recently deceased parents because they put their careers before her. She hardly knew them and it hurt to feel so unwanted. However, ever the dutiful daughter, she fulfills their request that she write to a man in America. She doesn't know him, she doesn't really care to know him. All she wants, really, is to focus on her job and the kids that involves and to be happy.

"I'm gay." Disclaimer: I wrote this short story when I was immature and a lot younger than I am now. I don't endorse or suggest you read it, unless you want a cringe-worthy and badly written quick read. I'm just posting it, because I'm bored. Don't say I didn't warn you.
