The Candy Coated Kiss

A pretty 13 year old girl named Aubrey is always alone. She has everything it takes to be popular- kindness, beauty, and of course the brains, but she avoids the public for reasons unknown. She has a crush on a popular boy named Carter, but can't muster up the guts to talk to him. She also has a best friend, Tamara, who like her is a hard core introvert. One day, Aubrey gets a visit from her uncle, Charles, who would be staying with her for a while. She had never heard of him before. It turns out that he is a famous movie actor, Charles Delaney! Word gets out and when Aubrey returns to school she is blasted with publicity! Will she handle her new popularity, or break under pressure. Can she and Tamara still be friends?
