Keaton Carmichael(V) is an orphan who is more than a little weird. He's been moved from orphanage to orphanage due to the strange things that always seem to happen around him. All his life he has felt isolated and unwanted. 
One night, a letter arrives for him at the orphanage two months after his twelfth birthday in the weirdest fashion ever.

This book is centered around v but will give background stories on all the boys since consequent books will be about each of them.
