He joined a gang at eighteen, and became its leader at nineteen. Then, at twenty, he catches the attention of a group dedicated to finding rouge mages and taking them in. Leading the hunt for supposedly-rogue-wizard Simon Snow is Baz Pitch, a vampire and wizard who looks particularly good in jeans.
