I watched him with cold eyes my gaze burning into his face.
The pain etched across his face made me want to forgive him...it made me want to forget.
No I thought as I grasped onto the last bit of pride I had left and stood up to leave.

My gaze snapped to his face once again, hope was written clearly on his face.
"No",the look of hope was crushed and replaced with a face of pain and suffering and with that I stood up and left.
