Reese Eichel used to live on a ranch in the Appalachian Mountains. She lived her life as a rancher and artist. Only going into town to get more supplies she can't make herself. Life was going how she wanted. Until aliens came to Earth to seek peace and trade. With them followed a group of space black market aliens. It was the wrong day to go into town and everyone was taken to become anything the aliens wanted. Even pets.

The Gory Details (Gross)
Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. I've also left them mostly intact except for a few very dated references that have been updated. The Betrayer and the Betrayed
In the not-so-distant future evolved humans emerged. Those who had powers that broke conventional laws of physics, chemistry, and biology were dubbed E.H.s (evolved humans); it was wondrous for a time. Of course if there was power to be used there would be those who misuse. To that end the evolved humans police department was formed to deal with all crime committed by or connected to E.H.s, a force entirely comprised of E.H.s trained to stop and capture any E.H. breaking the law. Adlet Blacksteel is the newest edition to the E.H.P.D., his skills and experience as a hostage extractor makes him an invaluable edition. Joined by his new partner, Jenna Jones, he pursues a secretive manhunt for the Soldiers Of The New World, an underground E.H. crime organization that has a hand in all that is illegal, and their mysterious leader: String, who, seemingly, has eyes and ears everywhere. While Adlet and Jenna intend on doing this by the books, their unsavory past with two of String's captains may muddy their judgement, or, more accurately, it already has. As String's ambitions grow beyond just controlling the city's underbelly Adlet and Jenna are forced to take action with an ally he did not desire. While prejudice against E.H.s reaches it's peak because of a horrific tragedy, the Soldiers of the New World waste no time to expand their reach and rally for their cause of taking over the city. Adlet goes to the edge of sacrificing everything and back again. On the way, betrayal awaits at every corner. It was hard sometimes, been out here in the mountains. Winter was never easy, there were hardly any animals around to keep me company. I would get lucky if I saw a bunny or two maybe a deer or a few wolves but it was always so lonely, the only animals I ever saw and interacted with were my chickens and horse, the nearest town was at the bottom of the mountain and with there always been blizzards up here it would be suicide to attempt walking down the path to the Village. _________ It was a normal day up in the mountains, I had just finished gathering the eggs from the chickens, the pesky little things kept gathering at my feet looking for their food, I swear i should have fed them first. Next, it was time to clean out the stable, it was small and could only hold one horse and maybe a few barrels if I needed to stock up, but then again my horse was not a normal mare , she was Fjord horse... The girl tries to enjoy her life as much as she can. But what happens, when her two certain men confess to her? Will she be able to keep her life the same it was before? And why do everyone seem to hide something? You will know it by reading this book. So, I'm not good at writing romances and all that stuff. Not your everyday love story, full of swear words in any language and other stuff. If there are any grammar mistakes or wrong translations then I apologize on the spot.
